2024 TAB ARMA Conference Scholarship Winners

ARMA and Tabcorp are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024 TAB ARMA Conference Scholarships. The 2024 TAB ARMA Conference is set to take place on the Gold Coast this August, and Tabcorp has generously offered to bear all the expenses related to the conference, including registration, flights, and accommodation for one Club representative from each state.

After receiving an overwhelming response from racing Clubs across the country, the selection process was challenging. However, after careful consideration, Tabcorp and ARMA have chosen the following winners:

• Alan Smith: Pingrup Race Club
• Damien Quarrell: Tasracing
• Jason McVicar: Cowra Jockey Club
• Max Buckley: Wangaratta Turf Club
• Nathan Pettit: Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club
• Trent Williams: Rockhampton Jockey Club

These deserving winners will have the opportunity to attend the 2024 TAB ARMA Conference, gain valuable insights, network with industry professionals, and contribute to the growth and development of the racing community.

The selection process was based on the nominations submitted by the Clubs. To be eligible for consideration, Clubs were required to complete an online nomination form, providing details of the nominated staff member, along with a compelling reason for the nomination. Additionally, Clubs were encouraged to share any on-course racing ideas or promotions they would like Tabcorp to offer throughout the 202-25 thoroughbred racing season.

The response from Clubs was exceptional, showcasing their enthusiasm and dedication to the racing industry and turf management. The innovative ideas and promotions proposed by the Clubs demonstrated their commitment to providing an exceptional racing experience to their patrons.

Tabcorp and ARMA would like to express their sincere congratulations to the winners and extend their gratitude to all the Clubs that participated in the nomination process.
